An Insider Trading Scandal She Can’t Run From

May Nivar was named by federal prosecutors as an alleged co-conspirator in a massive insider trading scheme involving Phillip Morris and Goldman Sachs employees and a temporary employee from Credit Suisse First Boston. She was interviewed twice by the U.S. Attorneys, and admitted that she was not completely truthful. May Nivar’s testimony was so unreliable that it contributed to a mistrial in the case of U.S.A v. Linda Karlsen.

Chinese Communist Party Sympathizer

May Nivar is a longtime member of the Organization of the Chinese Americans (OCA), a group that has gone on record defending the Chinese Communist Party.

In 2024, the OCA publicly condemned Congress for passing the Protect America’s Innovation and Economic Security from CCP Act. Legislation that is designed to protect U.S. businesses and national security from the Chinese Communist Party.

Instead of standing with America, the OCA sided with Beijing’s interest– and May Nivar continues to proudly hold membership in the OCA.
